Senators honor jones

The Ottawa Senators have Bob Jones' back.

The Senators assistant coach received the postgame goggle award from the players after their win against the New York Islanders on Wednesday.
"This is going to go to someone that's always been there for every player and every guy," Josh Norris said in a video posted by the Senators on Twitter. "He's been going through a rough time and we really appreciate everything you do, so Jonesy this is for you."
The Senators clapped and pat Jones on the back as he put on the swim goggles.

Jones and the Senators
announced he was diagnosed with ALS on Tuesday.
The assistant coach went public with the diagnosis to raise awareness of the disease and will continue his coaching duties according to the team.
Ottawa wore special helmet decals supporting their assistant coach's ALS battle and will wear the decals throughout the rest of the season.
