As part of NHL.com's 32 in 32 series, the fantasy hockey staff ranks the top five Seattle Kraken players for standard leagues and provides skater points and goalie wins projections for the 2026-27 season.

1. Brandon Montour, D

NHL.com fantasy rank: 163

Even though Montour was limited to 64 games last season, he's still among the NHL defenseman leaders in key offensive categories over the past two seasons: shots on goal (405; fourth), goals (29; sixth), even-strength goals (22; seventh) and power-play goals (seven; tied for 14th). The 32-year-old is a fantasy bounce-back candidate who could reach the 20-goal mark for the first time of his career, and it's worth noting Montour also has a high points ceiling from the past (73 with Florida Panthers in 2022-23).

2. Vince Dunn, D

NHL.com fantasy rank: 169

Dunn has scored double-digit goals in four straight seasons for the Kraken and has three 40-point seasons in that span (including career-high 64 in 2022-23). Over those past four seasons, Dunn ranks highly among defensemen in goals (47; tied for 13th), points (193 in 283 games; 14th), even-strength goals (39; 10th) and even-strength points (128; tied for 15th). Dunn, who will turn 30 on Oct. 29, also led all Kraken skaters in shots on goal last season (179) and was tied with forward Chandler Stephenson for the team lead in assists (33). Dunn, like Montour, is a fringe top 30 fantasy defenseman in NHL.com's rankings.

3. Bobby McMann, F

NHL.com fantasy rank: 213

McMann, who was acquired from the Toronto Maple Leafs prior to the NHL Trade Deadline last season, was a high-impact fantasy player with the Kraken; he had 14 points, including 10 goals, 58 shots on goal and 30 hits in 18 games. Although it was a small sample size with a new team, McMann led Seattle in goals per game (0.56), points per game (0.78) and shots on goal per game (3.22) last season. The 30-year-old, who quietly scored a career-high 29 goals last season, is a potential fantasy draft bargain who could shatter his previous career high in points (46) and emerge as one of the most valuable category coverage players in the NHL.

4. Jared McCann, F

NHL.com fantasy rank: Just missed top 250

McCann set the Kraken's single-season records for most goals (40) and points (70) during the 2022-23 season. The 30-year-old, who has been with the Kraken since their expansion season (2021-22), also holds the franchise records for career goals (138), points (283 in 367 games), even-strength goals (97), even-strength points (191), power-play goals (35), power-play points (85) and shots on goal (944). McCann is a sneaky fantasy bounce-back candidate who should continue to be featured in Seattle's top six and on the first power play.

NHL.com point projection: 62

TBL@SEA: McCann cuts the deficit to 3-2 in the 2nd

5. Joey Daccord, G

NHL.com fantasy rank: Just missed top 250

Among goalies to start at least 100 games since 2023-24, Daccord is tied for the 10th-best goals-against average in the NHL (2.74). Over that same span, Daccord is tied for seventh in save percentage (.907; minimum 100 games played), ranks 18th in wins (66) and is tied for 18th in shutouts (seven). Daccord has had consecutive 20-win seasons and three straight seasons with more than 45 games played, making him a potential draft bargain attainable in late rounds.
