RELEASE: Blackhawks Raise Awareness for Adoptable Puppies

The Chicago Blackhawks and
Determined to Rise Animal Foundation
teamed up to help new rescue puppies find their forever homes. A special naming ceremony took place at Fifth Third Arena following the team's practice on Friday, March 31. The expanded partnership comes after Blackhawks forward Colin Blackwell and fiancé Lauren Prodoehl have worked with the organization to foster dogs until they find their forever homes and reached out to have the entire team support the rescue's growing need.

"We are so excited to announce our partnership with the Chicago Blackhawks," said Determined to Rise Animal Foundation Founder Amanda Sherrod. "Today our favorite NHL team ventured to the animal rescue world to support our dog rescuing efforts and we couldn't be more excited.
