A Rangers Quick jersey

The New York Rangers sent off a legend in style.

Goalie Jonathan Quick announced he was playing his final NHL game on Monday against the Florida Panthers and his current team paid tribute to his prolific career.

The team skated during pregame warmups all wearing Quick's name and number on their backs.

Quick, a two-time Stanley Cup champion with the Los Angeles Kings, where he spent the first 16 of his 19 seasons, has played on the Rangers for the past three seasons. His New York tenure followed a one-day stint with the Columbus Blue Jackets and brief stay with the Vegas Golden Knights, where he was a member of their Stanley Cup winning roster.

The Rangers also shared a tribute video of Quick's outstanding career on social media.

Quick also got a nice video message from a fellow Stanley Cup champion goalie, Rangers great Mike Richter.

Richter called Quick's career "ridiculous" and said he was "an amazing professional... great teammate." Richter also thanked Quick for the memorable moments as a hockey fan.

"I want to say thank you," Richter said in a video shared by the Rangers. "I'm a hockey fan and I've loved watching you for your entire career."

Quick has the most wins (410) and shutouts (65) of any United States-born goalie in NHL history. Entering Monday, he's 410-306-90 with a 2.51 GAA and .910 save percentage in 828 regular-season games. He's 49-43 with a 2.31 GAA and .921 save percentage in 92 postseason games.

He also won the Conn Smythe Trophy in 2012 with the Kings when he went 16-4 with a 1.41 goals-against average and .946 save percentage.
