Situation Room: Benning's goal stands after review

At 8:02 of the first period in the Rangers/Oilers game, Edmonton requested a Coach's Challenge to review the "Interference on the Goalkeeper" decision that resulted in a "no goal" call.
After reviewing all available replays and consulting with the Referee, the Situation Room determined no goaltender interference infractions occurred. The video showed that the contact with the head of New York goaltender Alexander Georgiev prior to the puck crossing the goal line was made by his teammate Fredrik Claesson's stick.
Therefore, the original call is overturned - good goal Edmonton Oilers.
Since the Coach's Challenge resulted in the original call being overturned, the Edmonton Oilers retain their time-out.
