Matt Murray

Pittsburgh Penguins goalie Matt Murray could return from an upper-body injury to start against the Detroit Red Wings at Little Caesars Arena on Sunday (7 p.m. ET; FS-D, ATTSN-PT, NHL.TV).

Murray, who was injured in a 5-4 shootout win against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Wednesday but played the entire game, practiced Saturday for the first time since the injury.
"I feel good," Murray told the Penguins website after practice. "I had a good day today. It was a full practice today. I was [injured] in the Columbus game, not exactly sure when it happened, but we looked at it after the game and decided it was best to keep me out. I feel a lot better now."
Murray, who is 14-10-1 with a 2.94 goals-against average and a .904 save percentage, missed six games earlier in the season with a lower-body injury. Backup Tristan Jarry made 31 saves in a 2-1 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes on Friday.
Penguins defenseman Kris Letang, who has missed two games with a lower-body injury, practiced with a non-contact jersey. Defenseman Justin Schultz, who has missed 10 games with a lower-body injury, also practiced wearing a non-contact jersey.
