A little puck luck resulted in some good fortune for Pittsburgh Penguins forward Matt Cullen during the third period against the New York Rangers on Sunday.

After drawing a penalty on Derick Brassard behind the net that sent him to his knees, Cullen threw the puck in front. The puck deflected off the skate of Rangers defenseman Marc Staal and between the legs of goalie Henrik Lundqvist to give the Penguins a 4-3 lead at 11:09 of the third.
Pittsburgh added an empty-net goal to win the game 5-3.
