LIL Jon VGK

The Vegas Golden Knights got a crunk new strategy.

Rapper Lil Jon is the team's new assistant coach in a funny video shared by the team on social media Thursday.

The man behind hits like "Turn Down for What" and "Get Low" cited one of his other art works when trying to help ignite the Golden Knights offense: his 2009 collaboration with LMFAO titled "Shots."

Coach Jon, a well-known Golden Knights superfan, wants shots from everywhere, not just good shooting lanes. Shots for all is seemingly his strategy.

Golden Knights forward Jack Eichel and defenseman Brayden McNabb got the gist of it pretty quickly, but later in the review session, forward Paul Cotter answered incorrectly and was sent back to his notebook, scribbling while perplexed.

Will it work? If you asked Lil Jon, he'd probably say "Yeah!"
