No changes are expected to the Sens game roster for tonight as Christian Jaros (day-to-day) remains sidelined with a hamstring injury. Interim head coach Marc Crawford met with the media following today's optional morning skate and shared some thoughts on what they can expect from the host Flyers this evening.
"It's almost like a broken record but we're playing against a team in Philly tonight that has really closed the gap on Montreal, Carolina, Pittsburgh and all those teams that are vying for that last playoff spot," said Crawford. "Our guys are going to have to deal with a desparate hockey club and we're going to have to find a way to manufacture the emotion that you need at this time of year."
With the Sens holding an optional skate this morning (largely to work on their power play), here's a look at yesterday's line rushes to get an idea of what the projected line-up should look like tonight against the Flyers:
Tkachuk - Pageau - Duclair
Smith - White - Ryan
Gibbons - Lindberg - Boedker
Balcers - Tierney - Paajarvi
Chabot - DeMelo
Wolanin - Ceci
Borowiecki - Harpur
UPDATE (5 p.m.): It looks like a forward might be a little banged up and unable to go tonight so the Sens have recalled Filip Chlapik from Belleville on an emergency basis.
