At 8:20 of the third period in the Red Wings/Rangers game, the Situation Room initiated video review to further examine a play at the Detroit net. Video review supported the Referee's call on the ice that Mika Zibanejad kicked the puck into the Detroit net. According to Rule 49.2 "A goal cannot be scored by an attacking player who uses a distinct kicking motion to propel the puck into the net.". No goal New York.
