New York Rangers forward Derick Brassard will play against the Pittsburgh Penguins at Madison Square Garden on Sunday (12:30 p.m. ET; NBC, TVA Sports, SN) after missing a game because of the flu.
Brassard sat out the Rangers' 3-2 overtime loss to the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday. His 24 goals lead the Rangers and his 50 points are second behind forward Mats Zuccarello's 53. He takes a three-game point streak (two goals, four points) into the game against the Penguins.
