The seven Canadian NHL teams had a good old fashioned Twitter sing-a-long, all in the name of civic pride.

For Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada on Saturday, they teamed up to tweet the lyrics of the "O Canada."

The Montreal Canadiens, naturally, tweeted their line "God keep our land, glorious and free" in French.

The song was capped by the Twitter accounts of Sportsnet, who broadcasted the entire day of NHL action in Canada, and the day's title sponsor.

Each Canadian NHL team was in action for the annual celebration of hockey in Canada, with three games featuring head-to-head games between Canadian rivals and the Edmonton Oilers playing the Chicago Blackhawks in Chicago.
