, which took Milstein two days to transport from Jupiter, Florida. Some uncooperative weather limited Vasilevskiy's yacht trip to a smaller area around Tampa Bay.
Once the boat was docked, the small party continued with a catered dinner on board and fans passing by trying to sneak a peek at the storied trophy.
"I was lifting the Cup for them many times," Vasilevskiy said. "People were in front of the yacht too all the time trying to take pictures. A couple people tried to sneak on the yacht. In a perfect world, I would like to let everybody on the yacht, but unfortunately during Covid we cannot do that."
Also on board was Vasilevskiy's new mask that depicts him

. He won't be wearing the mask, which was a gift from designer Sylvie Marsolais and Bauer, but says he will find a special place for it in his home.
And even though his day with the Cup was a little more scaled down than he would've imagined, he was nonetheless thankful for seeing his name on the trophy and the time spent with his parents, Milstein and MMA fighter Alexander Volkov.
"I will be there forever as a champion," Vasilevskiy said. "I'm really happy for my parents, for my friends, for all the fans, for my teammates."
