Bergeron-Chara-Postma

The Boston Bruins and Florida Panthers teamed up with Major League Baseball's Boston Red Sox and Tampa Bay Rays at Fenway Park in Boston on Sunday to raise funds for Hurricane Irma relief efforts.

Bruins defensemen Zdeno Chara and Torey Krug and forward Patrice Bergeron, and Panthers captain Derek MacKenzie and defenseman Keith Yandle were among those who joined members of the Red Sox and Rays at the gates of Fenway Park to collect donations before and during the Rays-Red Sox game.
All donations will go to support the Red Cross to assist the region of South Florida. The Boston Bruins Foundation will match the total funds raised at the gates.
BB&T Center, the Panthers arena, is serving as an emergency vehicle staging site for various public service entities during the storm, which reached the coast of Florida on Sunday morning.
"We are here and ready to support our Florida family, Broward County and the City of Sunrise as the community prepares for Irma's possible landfall," Panthers owner Vincent J. Viola said. "Service to the community and family are in the DNA of our organization."
