Chicago Blackhawks center Artem Anisimov had surgery Tuesday to repair an injury to his right wrist.
"The surgery went well," head team physician Dr. Michael Terry told the Blackhawks website. "We anticipate his return to full hockey activities in approximately 6-8 weeks."

Anisimov spent most of the season centering a line with Artemi Panarin and Patrick Kane. He had three goals in seven Stanley Cup Playoff games, and 20 goals and 42 points in 77 regular-season games.
Chicago lost in seven games to the St. Louis Blues in the Western Conference First Round.
