NHL Summer Sizzle: Cale Makar

The ice has melted and the NHL offseason is in full swing. NHL.com caught up with some of the League's brightest stars in Nashville recently to get their answer to summer's most burning questions. So slap on that sunscreen and find out what your favorite player has on tap for this summer.

Favorite summer vacation destination?

"I don't really do much, but our family has kind of a lake house somewhere in BC [British Columbia] so I'd probably say there."

Favorite ice cream flavor?

"I feel like I'm a chocolate or vanilla guy. I keep it pretty plain and simple that's for sure."

What do you have on the grill?

"Steaks."

Beach or pool?

"Probably, pool."

Go-to summer anthem?

"I have no idea. I feel like everyone is listening to Morgan Wallen right now, so probably some country.

So, I'll have to get back into the country swing of things here pretty fast."
