If you are going to wait nearly a century to see your first NHL game live, you may as well see an overtime thriller.

For sisters Evelyn Lawrence, 93, and JoAnn Kottler, 83, the Arizona Coyotes 4-3 overtime win against the Pittsburgh Penguins Saturday was the first professional game they ever attended.

Lawrence, from just outside Meadville, Pa., said her son got her into hockey. Kottler, her little sister, now a resident of Scottsdale, Az., said she started to watch when her sister began watching.
While Kottler showed up decked out in a Coyotes shirt, she admitted she couldn't root against her sister.
"I'm rooting for both teams tonight," Kottler said.
Lawrence made it clear who she was there to see.
"Crosby's my favorite," Lawrence said. "I like Ian Cole. I like Letang. I like Kunitz. I like all of them. But Crosby's my favorite."
