Playing on short rest and against a Bruins team that had yet to suffer a home defeat this season, the cards were stacked against the Lightning on Tuesday at TD Garden in Boston.
With all that going against them, Tampa Bay played the Bruins tough but ultimately fell in a low scoring contest, 3-1.

A Steven Stamkos power play goal tied the game at one late in the second period, but Taylor Hall's second goal of the night early in the third would go on to serve as the game-winner.
The Bolts now head to Philadelphia to wrap up the road trip against the Flyers on Thursday.
