There will be a Game 6 in the Stanley Cup Final. The Lightning had a chance to eliminate the Stars with a victory on Saturday but Corey Perry's game-winner in double overtime sent Tampa Bay to a 3-2 defeat and extended the series.

Perry scored his first goal of the night at the 17:52 of the first period to get Dallas on the board first. With Tyler Seguin and Mikhail Sergachev battling for the puck in the slot, Perry swooped in to gain possession and then fired his shot under Andrei Vasilevskiy's arm.
Ondrej Palat scored his 11th goal of the postseason early in the second period to draw the Lightning even. Palat made a strong move to the net, cut across the crease and tucked the puck home on his forehand to tie the game at one.
Tampa Bay jumped in front early in the third when Mikhail Sergachev got a shot through traffic and past Khudobin. With Nikita Kucherov and Palat providing a screen in front, Khudobin struggled to track the shot from the point.
The Bolts couldn't make the lead hold up as Joe Pavelski scored with less than seven minutes remaining in regulation. A failed Lightning clear kept play in their zone and Pavelski was on hand at the near post to lift home the rebound of Miro Heiskanen's point shot.
In overtime, Tampa Bay dominated but just couldn't break through. The Bolts held the Stars to only two shots on goal in the first OT period but on the other end, Khudobin stopped all seven shots thrown his way. The Lightning got off to a strong start again in double overtime but Perry pounced on a loose puck in the crease to win the game for Dallas just past the midway point of the period. John Klingberg's shot from the point got blocked but Perry fought his way through Victor Hedman to get to the rebound and score.
Neither team's special teams had much of an impact on the outcome. Tampa Bay's penalty kill was 2-for-2 and Dallas' finished 1-for-1. There were no penalties called in overtime.
Khudobin was the busier of the two goaltenders, finishing the night with 39 saves, including 11 in over both periods of OT. Vasilevskiy didn't face as much pressure, stopping 30 of 33 shots.
The teams will get a day off following the back-to-back with Game 6 set for Monday night at 8 p.m.
