There would be no third period letdown from the Lightning on Tuesday.
After letting late leads disappear in each of the first two games of this homestand, Tampa Bay cruised to a 4-0 win over the Flyers behind three points from Steven Stamkos and Andrei Vasilevksiy's 34-save shutout.

Stamkos scored at the 6:43 mark of the second period and added primary assists on goals from Corey Perry - his first as a Bolt - and Alex Barre-Boulet.
Vasilevskiy tied his season-high with 34 saves to record his first shutout of the season.
Scoring Summary
1st Period
TBL 1, PHI 0
2:28 Zach Bogosian (1) - Mikhail Sergachev, Pat Maroon
The Lightning opened the scoring on their first shot on goal less than three minutes into the game. Off a set-up from Mikhail Sergachev, Zach Bogosian teed up a one-timer from the left point that got through traffic in front of Carter Hart before ringing off the far post and in.
2nd Period
TBL 2, PHI 0
6:43 Steven Stamkos (10) - Zach Bogosian, Ryan McDonagh
Bogosian nearly added his second goal of the night but couldn't finish at the near post after cutting through the slot. Bogosian stayed with the play, however, circling the net with the puck, and sending a cross-crease feed to Stamkos. After his initial shot was blocked by a sliding defender, Stamkos collected the rebound and managed to score before Hart could slide to his right.
TBL 3, PHI 0
16:17 Corey Perry (1) - Steven Stamkos, Mikhail Sergachev
Pat Maroon was interfered with on a breakaway, but the Bolts maintained possession and got Vasilevskiy to the bench on the delayed call. With the sixth skater on the ice, Corey Perry went unmarked down low and popped out front with the puck off a feed from Stamkos and placed a shot over Hart's shoulder to extend Tampa Bay's lead to three.
3rd Period
TBL 4, PHI 0
7:26 Alex Barre-Boulet (3) - Steven Stamkos
Off an offensive zone faceoff win, Alex Barre-Boulet gathered the puck at the top of the right circle and snapped a shot past Hart through traffic to round out the scoring midway through the third period.
