With assists in games against Pittsburgh and Buffalo to open the month, Kucherov extended his point streak to 8 games. To that time, Kucherov had recorded at least a point in 19 of 20 games dating back to mid-January.

Kucherov's best two-game stretch of March came in back-to-back three-point performances against the Flyers and Golden Knights. On March 7 against Philadelphia, Kucherov recorded a pair of power play goals and added a primary assist. Two nights later against Vegas, Kucherov again scored and picked up two assists, one of which was the primary helper on Brayden Point's last-minute equalizer. Kucherov's +6 rating was the third highest on the team in March.
