TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning and AMALIE Arena have partnered with Fast to provide guests attending games and events at AMALIE Arena, or watching along at home, with a streamlined and seamless e-commerce experience when purchasing merchandise, the team announced today.

"Vinik Sports Group and the Tampa Bay Lightning have been exceptional at building a unique and engaging fan experience, and we were eager to partner with them to bring headless checkout to AMALIE Arena," said Fast CEO and Co-Founder Domm Holland. "Now fans could easily scan a QR code on their cup holder to purchase merchandise, future match tickets, sponsor products, or concert merchandise through Fast Checkout with just one-click from the comfort of their seat."
"Being the first professional sports team to partner with Fast is both an honor and a unique opportunity to enhance the fan experience year-round at AMALIE Arena," said Vinik Sports Group Chief Marketing and Revenue Officer Jarrod Dillon. "Our partnership will allow Vinik Sports Group to enable fast and easy purchasing via QR code and one-click checkout to our fans on TampaBaySports.com."
The Fast technology, recently installed at AMALIE Arena and on TampaBaySports.com, lets consumers find and buy with one click without the hassle of navigating through multiple sites and online payment fields. Guests can simply scan one of the more than 10,000 QR codes placed on cup holders at the arena in order to make instant purchases of their favorite Lightning gear and more. The codes direct to TampaBaySports.com/Fast to purchase the exclusive "Item of the Game" with a one-click checkout experience. Fans not at the arena can also make this purchase at any time on all game days this season. The technology eliminates redirects to merchant sites where the buyer is sent through a cumbersome checkout flow that requires them to add the item to their cart, log in and enter their information. They can simply purchase with one click.
