Dunn recorded 20 points (six goals, 14 assists) and averaged 19:15 of ice time in 43 games during the 2020-21 season with the St. Louis Blues, setting a career high in points per game (.47). Despite the shortened season, Dunn reached the 20-point plateau for the fourth consecutive season. He was on pace to tally 27 assists and 38 points in an 82-game season, both of which would have set career highs. Dunn, who stands at six-foot, 203 pounds, registered 51 blocked shots last season, setting a new career best with 3.69 blocked shots per 60.
Dunn has spent his entire four-year NHL career with the Blues, notching 102 points (32 goals, 70 assists) in 267 games. Since making his NHL debut on Oct. 4, 2017, Dunn ranks third among Blues defensemen in scoring and leads all St. Louis blueliners in games played. Originally selected by the Blues in the second round (56th overall) of the 2015 NHL Draft, Dunn ranks in the top five in goals, assists and points from defensemen drafted in 2015. The 24-year-old set career highs in goals (12), assists (23) and points (35) during the 2018-19 season, ranking second among Blues defensemen in scoring that year. Dunn has added 11 points (two goals, nine assists) in 29 playoff games with the Blues, winning the Stanley Cup with the team in 2019.
Prior to making his NHL, Dunn spent the 2016-17 season with the Chicago Wolves, the Blues American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate. He recorded 45 points (13 goals, 32 assists) in 72 games en route to being selected to play in the AHL All-Star Game. His 45 points led all Chicago defensemen and tied for ninth among all AHL blueliners. The Peterborough, Ontario native spent the previous three seasons (2013-14 to 2015-16) playing for the Niagara IceDogs of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). Dunn led all rookie OHL defensemen in scoring his first year with the IceDogs and was named the team's Top Defenseman of the Year in both 2015 and 2016.
