The New York Islanders are sending18 of the top local pee-wee hockey players to the 60th Quebec International Tournament taking place in Quebec City in February.
Known as the "World Championships of Pee-Wee Hockey," the Quebec tournament is a prestigious pee-wee tournament featuring teams from around the United States, Canada and Europe. NHL legends like Wayne Gretzky, Patrick Roy and Mario Lemieux have played in the Quebec tournament.

Former Islander and 15-year NHL vet Arron Asham is returning for his third season as the head coach of the Isles' Quebec Team, while former Islanders Garth Snow and Eric Boulton, as well as Michael Kantor will serve as assistant coaches. Islanders Skills Development Coach Bernie Cassell will serve as skills coach.
Congratulations to the 18 players, representing four youth hockey organizations on making the team and representing the Islanders.
