1. THE FORCE IS STRONG WITH YOU
The Flyers face elimination again and try to force a decisive Game 7... They have forced a Game 7 when being down 3-1 in a series 6 out of 18 times, most recently in 2010 when they were down 0-3 to Boston... The Flyers won both of their games in overtime in this series - It's the 21st time they have played overtime twice in a series, but they have played three overtimes in a single series only on one occasion (2003 ECQF vs. Toronto)... In their history they have never lost a series when they have won two games in overtime in a single series, going 5-0.

2. SECOND CHANCES
The Islanders look to close out the Flyers for the second time - they have lost all three first attempts to close out a series in these playoffs, but are a perfect 2-0 and have outscored their opponent 10-1 in the second chance... The Islanders have their best winning percentage in Game 6 throughout their history posting a 17-5 record (.773) and own an even more impressive 10-1 record in Game 6 when they can eliminate an opponent... the Isles have also not lost two games in-a-row in these playoffs.

3. GETTING DEFENSIVE
The Flyers defense has factored into nine of the 11 goals in this series with 11 points (3g-8a) in the five games... The Flyers have seven goals from their blueline, which is T-4th in the playoffs, while the Islanders have 28 points (5g-23a) in 14 playoff games which is T-5th in the postseason... The Islanders are 4-0 in the playoffs when they get a goal from their defense, while the Flyers are 6-1 in the postseason when they get a goal from a defenseman.

4. THE LAST CHANGE
The Islanders will be the home team and have the "last change" - they have won both games in the series and are 5-1 and have allowed the fewest goals per-game (1.67) with home-ice advantage... The Flyers are 0-2 in this series as the road team, but were a perfect 5-0 as the road team prior to this series... Despite that, the Flyers have the second fewest goals-allowed per-game as the road team (1.43), but the Islanders have scored a full goal more per-game on average as the road team (3.75) than the home team (2.67).

5. PLAYERS TO WATCH
FLYERS (C: #13 - Kevin Hayes)
Hayes has posted two assists in his last two games and has four points (2g-2a) in his last four games of the series... He logged 23:25 of ice time in Game 5, nearly three full minutes more than the next forward.

ISLANDERS (G: #40 - Semyon Varlamov)
The Isles netminder has not dropped two straight games in the postseason and has bounced back from an Islanders loss with a 3-0 record, .973. save percentage and 0.67 goals-against average... In each of those games he has also faced 27 or less shots... He also owns a regular season record of 7-2-1 against the Flyers in his career.
