Duchene's name has been at the top of NHL trade rumors most of the season and here's why: the 26-year old leads the Avs in scoring with 16 goals and is second with 36 points in 55 games… In eight seasons, the third overall pick in the 2009 Draft has 413 career points (172g-241a) in 550 games… In the first meeting with the Flyers, Duchene scored two of the Avs three goals and lifetime has seven points (4g-3a) in nine games against the Flyers.

On February 20, 1990… the visiting Philadelphia Flyers and host Vancouver Canucks skated to a 7-7 tie. The game was every bit as wide-open as the final score suggested. Vancouver jumped out to an early 2-0 first-period lead, before the Flyers scored the next three goals of the game. Tim Kerr's goal in the final minute of regulation tied the game at 7-7. A scoreless overtime ended with the game still tied 7-7. That was how it stood in the era before the NHL's adoption of the shootout to resolve tied games in the regular season. Kerr, Ilkka Sinisalo and Pelle Eklund each scored two goals, while Eklund and defenseman Jiri Latal (3a) led the Flyers with three points each.
