Since joining the Devils, a fan Twitter parody account of Johansson came to existence, which goes by General Marcus Johansson. The bio on the account states the following: General, Devils Army of New Jersey. Brave fighter, brilliant leader, lover of all things Abigail. \Parody - not the real Marcus Johansson, nor a real general\. And tweets witty captions regarding Devils games.
Dearest Abigail,

The Bell Fortress belongs to New Jersey. Pvt. Blackwood returned to bolster our defenses, and Cpl. Hischier fired the final shot that crumbled the walls and sent the army of Montreal running to Quebec City.

And although we could rattle off a bunch of General Marcus Johansson tweets, here are a few fun facts about this Devils forward that fans might not know.
This Devil started playing hockey at the age of two and a half in Sweden. He also played gold and soccer while growing up. Can you guess which one Johansson is from these little Devils?

In his spare time, you might be able to catch him watching his favorite movie, Wolf of Wall Street, which stars his favorite actor, Leonardo DiCaprio. He might also be playing his favorite video game, Call of Duty, and we can all be sure he's excited for April, as that's when the final season of his favorite show, Game of Thrones, returns to HBO. His favorite time to get away with his family is over the summer, but we couldn't pass up finding a few family vacation photos, as they're all adorable.
But we have to say, we love the Christmas photos just as much, when it involves his family or making stops to local hospitals to bring holiday cheer to patients and staff.
Johansson's favorite superhero is Batman and his favorite school subject growing up was English. His favorite hobby is golf, which he would make his full-time job as a professional golfer if he wasn't a hockey player.
And the one thing this Devils forward can't live without? His daughter.
