You might think you have a strong poker face when you're playing a round of Texas Hold 'em in your basement with your friends, but how about when the pressure is really on and you're trying to bluff against Capitals players including Nicklas Backstrom, Braden Holtby and Alex Ovechkin?

In addition to poker, fans can join players in roulette, craps, blackjack and slots during Capitals Casino Night on Thursday, Jan. 4 at the MGM National Harbor from 7-10 p.m.

Outside of the casino games, another unique element of the night will be the live and silent auctions where fans have the chance to win once-in-a-lifetime prizes and experiences.

Live auction items include an escape room with Alex Ovechkin, Evgeny Kuznetsov, Dmitry Orlov and Devante Smith-Pelly and bowling with Madison Bowey, Andre Burakovsky, Christian Djoos, Philipp Grubauer and Jakub Vrana. Also up for bidding is Top Golf with Brett Connolly, Lars Eller, T.J. Oshie, Chandler Stephenson and Tom Wilson, and a wine tasting with John Carlson, Alex Chiasson, Braden Holtby and Brooks Orpik.

Fans can also bid on experiences including participating in the 2017-18 team photo and taking part in Jerseys Off Our Backs, the latter of which will find the winner being presented a game-used jersey on the ice at Capital One Arena following a home game.

As part of the silent auction, fans can bid on game-worn jerseys including Holtby, Oshie and Ovechkin, player-used sticks, an Oshie game-worn skate, display cases with pucks signed by the entire team, game pucks from each 2016-17 Caps win with an autograph from the player who scored the game-winning goal, and the boxing robe the team awarded to the player of the game following each game during the 2016-17 season, signed by the entire Capitals team.

One hundred percent of the proceeds from the event supports Monumental Sports & Entertainment Foundation, which focuses on the following five pillars to maximize its impact and engagement with the community: youth basketball, football and hockey; education and scholarship; pediatric health and fitness; military and veterans' affairs; and hunger and homelessness.

New to this year's Capitals Casino Night, "Bid Only" passes will be available for $20 each and will allow fans who are not local or not able to attend the event access to bid in the Casino Night silent auction (but not entry to the event).
