Vancouver, B.C. – Hockey is almost back, Vancouver! The Vancouver Canucks are excited to announce details for the first-ever Fan Fest, presented by Rogers, a three-day celebration at Rogers Arena beginning Thursday, September 24 ahead of the team’s first home preseason game against the Edmonton Oilers.

Festivities continue throughout Friday, September 25, building toward Saturday, September 26, which will feature a full day of pre-game activities before the Canucks host the Seattle Kraken, marking the start of the 2026.27 season.

“Our fans are what make Rogers Arena feel like home, and we are eager to welcome them back for our first-ever Fan Fest on our new RBC Landing,” said Michael Doyle, President, Canucks Sports & Entertainment, Business Operations. “We’re deeply grateful for the passion and support our fans continue to show year after year. Their energy drives everything we do, and this weekend is about celebrating that connection between the team and the community.”

Fans are encouraged to head down to Rogers Arena for a three-day celebration as hockey returns to Vancouver. From interactive activities, music, food and drinks, and unforgettable moments to exclusive opportunities to get closer to the team, including chances to see and meet your favourite players. There will be plenty to experience throughout the weekend.

Here’s what’s happening:

Thursday, September 24

  • Don’t miss the fan-favourite player arrivals on the Blue Carpet: From 3:00 to 4:00pm, head to Rogers Arena to welcome the team as they arrive! Get up close, snap a photo, and you might even score an autograph from your favourite player. Bring the energy, bring your camera, and get ready to welcome your Vancouver Canucks back for a new season!
  • Preseason hockey is back: Stick around for the first chance to catch a glimpse of this year’s team as the Canucks take on the Edmonton Oilers at 6:00pm, while celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Canucks For Kids Fund. Purchase your tickets HERE!

Friday, September 25

  • Get up close with the team at Open Practice: Catch the Canucks in action at Open Practice starting at 1:30pm and witness our players behind the scenes. Get your tickets HERE!
  • Meet the Team: The annual Meet the Team event returns, available exclusively to Full Season Ticket Members. Fans can meet their favourite players at this special event and connect with the team in a unique setting. Don’t miss out, become a Season Ticket Member today!
  • Canucks For Kids Fund Charity Hockey Game: Head to Rogers Arena for the Canucks For Kids Fund Charity Hockey Game, featuring Canucks legends including Henrik Sedin, Kirk McLean, Mason Raymond, Geoff Courtnall, Cliff Ronning, Canadian women’s hockey Olympic medalist Jenn Gardiner and more! Doors open at 6:00pm and tickets are $5 and free for kids under 12 with proceeds going to the Canucks For Kids Fund. Saturday, September 26

  • Connect at the Career Networking Event: Kick off the day from 11:30am to 1:30pm by connecting with professionals across various industries at a Career Networking Event featuring a networking panel.   • ‘Game On’ at RBC Landing: Head to the newly named RBC Landing (formerly North Plaza) starting at 12:00pm for interactive games and activities, street hockey on Pat Quinn Way, a Molson Hockey House, live entertainment, and more!
  • A second chance to welcome players on the Blue Carpet: If you missed the Blue Carpet arrivals on Thursday, fans will have another chance to snap a photo or even score an autograph as players arrive to Rogers Arena on the Blue Carpet on Saturday from 1:00pm to 2:00pm.
  • Finish with preseason action: Wrap up the weekend with the Canucks taking on the Seattle Kraken at 4:00pm, as the team commemorates the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Purchase your tickets HERE.
