Forward Zac Dalpe from the Cleveland Monsters, Columbus' American Hockey League affiliate, has been selected to participate in the 2019 Lexus AHL All-Star Classic presented by MGM Springfield, the Monsters and AHL announced today. He is scheduled to represent the Monsters on the North Division All-Star squad at the event to be held January 27-28 at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, Massachusetts, home of the Springfield Thunderbirds.
Dalpe, 29, has recorded 14 goals and 13 assists for 27 points with 29 penalty minutes and a +4 plus/minus rating in 28 games with the Monsters this season. Serving as one of the team's assistant captains, he leads the club in goals, points (tied), power-play goals (four, tied) and game-winning goals (two, tied). Scheduled to make his AHL-All-Star Classic debut, Dalpe has posted 122-120-242, 162 penalty minutes and a +5 plus/minus rating in 333 career AHL games with the Monsters, Iowa Wild, Rochester Americans, Utica Comets, Charlotte Checkers and Albany River Rats.
