COLUMBUS, OHIO - In advance of the 2018 International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championship, USA Hockey and the Columbus Blue Jackets announced today that the 2018 U.S. National Junior Teamwill hold its pre-tournament training camp at Nationwide Arena from December 15-19, 2017. The 2018 IIHF World Junior Championship will be conducted December 26, 2017 through January 5, 2018 at the KeyBank Center and HarborCenter in Buffalo, New York.

The preliminary roster for the 2018 squad will be unveiled in early December. The U.S. National Junior Team will enter the tournament as the defending gold medalist on home ice and aims for back-to-back gold medal finishes for the first time ever. A media credential application for the U.S. camp in Columbus will be available in mid-November. The complete camp schedule is to be announced.
This year's camp will mark the third time that USA Hockey has made Columbus its training home after hosting World Cup of Hockey training camps at Nationwide Arena in 2016 and 2004.
