\CBJ Digital catches breath after trade deadline\
\Wipes forehead\
Wow. What a week. Four trades in two days, two wins in three days and a partridge in a pear tree.
There was plenty for us to pick from this week, which is quite the relief. After all, this time of year the guys don't tend to be focused on social media. Something about a playoff push?
Trades on trades on trades.
The Jackets made several moves in the week leading up to the trade deadline, starting with the re-addition of Mark Letestu in exchange for a 2018 fourth round pick.

Then, early on deadline day, Columbus sent Nick Moutrey and a 2020 third rounder to Ottawa in exchange for Ian Cole. This was the second time in three days that Cole had been traded.

Just minutes before the deadline at 3:00 p.m., the CBJ and Vancouver Canucks agreed to a trade bringing Thomas Vanek to Columbus in exchange for Jussi Jokinen and Tyler Motte.

Also on deadline day, the Jackets made an organizational deal swapping AHL Cleveland Monster Jordan Maletta for Ryan Kujawinski from the Arizona AHL affiliate, the Tuscon Roadrunners.

Cheering on old friends.
This week on social, CBJ players and fans were showing support for people all over the hockey world.
Cam Atkinson made sure to cheer on former Jacket James Wisniewski, who scored a goal for Team USA at the Winter Olympics.

CBJ fans were sure to give Mark Letestu a great ovation in his return to Nationwide Arena in the union blue.

Letestu came through for the fans, scoring a goal in his CBJ season debut.

At the Winter Olympics, the Olympic Athletes from Russia won the gold medal in Men's Hockey, and two Blue Jackets sent their congratulations out on Instagram.
