Snoopy, Woodstock, hockey and Halloween fun are coming together at Nationwide Arena when the Blue Jackets host the Vegas Golden Knights for a Saturday night matchup. Puck drops at 7 p.m. but the Peanuts Spooktacular festivities celebrating the 60th anniversary of “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” begin when doors open at 5:30 p.m.
Throughout the night, fans can enjoy themed photo opportunities, interactive activities, and entertainment, including an appearance by Snoopy.
For the pregame festivities, kids ages 13 and under can grab a special Blue Jackets and Peanuts pillowcase before making their way around the arena for trick-or-treating. Stations will be set up along the concourse and Blue Line Team Store for families to stop by and snag their sweet treats.
Fans of all ages are invited to show off their best Peanuts-inspired costumes for a chance to win prizes in the Peanuts Costume Contest. To enter, fans should stop by the designated Peanuts photo backdrop located on the main concourse across from Sections 112-116 by the end of the first period. Selected participants will be provided participation instructions.
A special ticket package is available for fans hoping for more than a rock this Halloween. The package includes a game ticket and an exclusive bobblehead featuring Snoopy and Woodstock driving the Blue Jackets Zamboni. The item is only available through the offer and while supplies last.
