COLUMBUS, OHIO ---The Columbus Blue Jackets have traded defenseman John Ramage to the Arizona Coyotes in exchange for future considerations, club General Manager Jarmo Kekalainen announced today.

Ramage, 26, has registered two goals and seven assists for nine points with 37 penalty minutes in 33 American Hockey League games with the Cleveland Monsters this season. He has skated in one game with the Blue Jackets in 2015-16 and added 14-47-61 and 171 penalty minutes in 170 games with the Monsters since signing as a free agent with Columbus on July 3, 2015.
The Mississauga, Ontario native has appeared in two career NHL games with Columbus and the Calgary Flames and has collected 17-60-77 and 298 penalty minutes in 277 career AHL games with the Monsters, Adirondack Flames and Abbotsford Heat since making his pro debut in 2013-14. Originally Calgary's first fourth round pick, 103rd overall, in the 2010 NHL Draft, Ramage posted 14-39-53, 237 penalty minutes and was +26 in 157 career NCAA games at the University of Wisconsin from 2009-13.
