The Columbus Blue Jackets made several roster moves today

The Columbus Blue Jackets made several roster moves today, club General Manager Jarmo Kekalainen announced. The roster now stands at 24 players - 14 forwards, seven defensemen and three goaltenders.
Columbus has placed defensemen Seth Jones (knee) on Injured Reserve retroactive to Sept. 25 and Ryan Murray (lower body) on Injured Reserve retroactive to Sept. 18. The Blue Jackets assigned forward Kevin Stenlund to the Cleveland Monsters, the club's American Hockey League affiliate and placed forward Alex Broadhurst on waivers for the purpose of assigning him to the AHL team. In addition, the Jackets have also assigned forward Jonathan Davidsson to Djurgårdens IF in the Swedish Hockey League.
