2:01 - COL 1, NSH 0, PPG -Off a Nazem Kadri faceoff win, Cale Makar snapped a shot past David Rittich to provide the game's icebreaker.
6:46 - COL 2, NSH 0 -From distance, Josh Manson wired a shot on net that skimmed off Artturi Lehkonen and past Rittich to double Colorado's lead. Andre Burakovsky also tallied an assist.
11:46 - COL 2, NSH 1 -Against his former club, Matt Duchene curled off the right faceoff circle and beat Darcy Kuemper with a high shot to put the Predators on the board. Roman Josi and Mikael Granlund collected the assists.
16:59 - COL 3, NSH 1 -On a sharp angle, Logan O'Connor collected his own rebound and put it past Rittich,who lost track of the puck to extend Colorado's lead 3-1.
2nd Period:
3:17 - COL 3, NSH 2 -Ryan Johansen beat Kuemper for the Predators' second goal of the game. Filip Forsberg and Mattias Ekholm recorded the assists.
9:24 - COL 4, NSH 2 - J.T. Compher buried a loose puck in the low slot to give Colorado a 4-2 lead. Bowen Byram and Darren Helm notched the assists.
16:28 - COL 4, NSH 3, PPG -Roman Josi drove to the net and beat Kuemper with a backhand-forehand combination to trim the Predators' deficit down to one goal.
3rd Period:
4:11 - COL 4, NSH 4 -Off a faceoff win and a d-to-d passing sequence, Mattias Ekholm unleashed a one timer that beat Kuemper to tie the score 4-4. Alexander Carrier and Mikael Granlund registered the assists.
