Avs In The Community

On Nov. 13, Avalanche forwards Alex Kerfoot and Marko Dano, along with strength and conditioning coach Casey Bond, participated in a TeamFIT event, presented by Ardent Mills, at Valverde Elementary School. The Avs' TeamFIT program aims to teach kids the principles of healthy eating and daily fitness habits in a fun, interactive setting.

Quotable

"We knew we wanted to bounce back. We got a big goal from Nate at the end of the second. It was a one-goal game. We knew we had a lot of gas in the tank, so we knew that we were going to outplay them in the third, and I think that's what we did. They defended pretty well, but we got it done, so that is the biggest thing." - Avalanche forward Mikko Rantanen on the team's comeback victory on Sunday night at Anaheim
