San Antonio Rampage

San Antonio fell 5-1 to San Jose on Saturday in its final contest of the week. Spencer Martin started between the pipes for the Rampage and made 13 saves in 22 minutes in net. Trent Vogelhuber scored the only tally for the Silver and Black in the final five minutes of the match with an assist from Andrei Mironov.
Grimaldi represented the Rampage at the AHL All-Star Classic on Sunday and Monday. He competed in the Puck Control Relay and the Fastest Skater challenges in the AHL Skills Competition on Sunday. On Monday, he helped the Pacific Division skate to the championship game with five assists in the round-robin 3-on-3 tournament.

Colorado Eagles (ECHL)

The Colorado Eagles swept the Idaho Steelheads in the three-game series at home this week. The Eagles defeated the Steelheads 5-4 on Wednesday and outscored Idaho 5-3 on Saturday. J.C. Beaudin recorded three assists in Saturday's victory and goaltender Joe Cannata picked up his 16th win of the season. The netminder had 18 saves in 31 minutes between the pipes but had to leave the contest during the second period with an injury. On Saturday, the Eagles beat the Steelheads 6-4 and Beaudin found the scoresheet again as he recorded his seventh goal of the campaign. Beaudin has 22 points (seven goals, 15 assists) in 21 contests with the Eagles this season and Cannata is 16-2-1 with a 2.13 goals-against average and .934 save percentage.

OHL

Travis Barron (Ottawa 67's): Travis Barron tied his season-high with three assists in the Ottawa 67's 6-5 shootout loss the North Bay Battalion on Friday. The 67's fell 5-4 in overtime to the Kingston Frontenacs on Saturday and were defeated in an extra frame again on Sunday as they were outscored 4-3 by the Oshawa Generals. Barron now has 39 points (13 goals, 26 assists) through 47 games this campaign.
Conor Timmins (Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds): The Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds recorded three wins this week as they outscored the Windsor Spitfires 6-4 on Friday, the Barrie Colts 4-3 on Saturday and the Saginaw Spirit 5-2 on Sunday. Conor Timmins remains out of the lineup with an injury and has 35 points (six goals, 29 assists) in 30 games this season.

WHL

Josh Anderson (Swift Current Broncos): Josh Anderson registered a helper in the Swift Current Broncos' 4-2 loss to the Spokane Chiefs on Tuesday. The Broncos came back with a pair of wins over the Regina Pats in a home-and-home series as they outscored Regina 3-1 on Saturday and 4-1 on Sunday. The blueliner has 10 points (one goal, nine assists) in 34 games this year.
Nick Henry (Regina Pats): Nick Henry recorded his eighth goal of the season in the Regina Pats' 7-3 win over the Saskatoon Blades on Wednesday. The Pats were swept by the Swift Current Broncos in a two-game series over the weekend as they fell 3-1 on Saturday and 4-1 on Sunday. The forward has 21 points (eight goals, 13 assists) in 33 games played this season.
Ty Lewis (Brandon Wheat Kings): Ty Lewis recorded two goals and a pair of helpers for a 4-point night in the Brandon Wheat Kings' 6-5 shootout loss to the Seattle Thunderbirds on Tuesday. The Wheat Kings fell to the Kootenay ICE twice to close out the week as they were outscored 6-2 on Friday and 3-2 on Saturday. Lewis has 75 points (28 goals, 47 assists) in 50 games.

Shane Bowers (Boston University): Shane Bowers found the back of the net in both outings with Boston University this week. Bowers registered a goal in the club's 8-0 win over Arizona State on Friday and recorded the game-winning goal and tied his season-high with seven shots in a 4-3 victory over the Sun Devils on Saturday. The forward has registered 20 points (12 goals, eight assists) through 26 games. Boston University is tied for fourth in the Hockey East standings with a 9-7-2 conference record and 13-11-2 overall record.
Cale Makar (UMass): UMass fell three times this week starting with a 2-1 loss to Boston College on Tuesday. The squad then fell to Maine 3-2 on both Friday and Saturday. Freshman Cale Makar was out of the lineup for all three contests as he recovers from an upper-body injury. The blueliner has 13 points (three goals, 10 assists) in 21 games this campaign.
Cam Morrison (Notre Dame): Notre Dame lost 1-0 to Minnesota in overtime on Friday before coming back with a 4-1 victory over Minnesota on Saturday. Cam Morrison played in both contests and has 15 points (four goals, 11 assists) in 26 games this season. Notre Dame remains the number one seed in the Big Ten Hockey standings with a 14-2-0 conference record and 20-5-1 overall record.
Denis Smirnov (Penn State): Denis Smirnov tallied a power-play goal on Friday in Penn State's 4-2 loss to Wisconsin and put up two more markers on Saturday in a 4-4 tie between the clubs. Nate Clurman (Des Moines Buccaneers): Nate Clurman and the Des Moines Buccaneers began the week on Friday with a 2-1 loss to the Sioux Falls Stampede. The Buccaneers bounced back with a 3-0 win over the Green Bay Gamblers on Saturday. Clurman has four assists in 31 games this campaign.

Nick Leivermann (Penticton Vees): The Penticton Vees defeated the Powell River Kings 4-1 on Friday and prevailed with a 4-3 double overtime win over the Cowichan Valley Capitals on Saturday for the team's sixth victory in a row. The winning streak ended on Sunday at the Vees fell 6-3 to the Victoria Grizzlies in Penticton's first loss of the calendar year. The Vees closed January with nine wins, a loss and a tie. Nick Leivermann remains out with an upper-body injury that he sustained on Jan. 6. Leivermann continues to lead all rookie blueliners in scoring with 29 points (seven goals, 22 assists) in 36 contests this season.

KHL

Igor Shvyrev (Mettallurg Magnitogorsk): Mettallurg Magnitogorsk didn't hit the ice this week and won't compete again until Feb. 27 versus Ugra as the KHL is on its Olympic break. Magnitogorsk's last contest was a 4-1 win over Kunlan Red Star Beijing on Jan. 22. Igor Shvyrev has one goal in 30 KHL games this season.

Gustav Olhaver (IK Oskarshamn): Gustav Olhaver played in all of IK Oskarshamn's outings this week as the club went 2-1 in three games. Olhaver recorded two shots on goal in the team's 5-4 win over Leksand on Wednesday. IK Oskarshamn then defeated IK Bjorkloven 3-2 in a shootout on Friday before falling to Bjorkloven on Monday by a 4-0 score. Olhaver has six goals and six assists in 38 games this season.
Adam Werner (IF Bjorkloven): Adam Werner made 14 saves on 16 shots in his first outing of the week as IF Bjorkloven's fell 3-1 to Timra on Wednesday. The goaltender wasn't between the pipes on Friday as the club fell 3-2 to IK Oskarshamn in a shootout, but he returned to the crease on Monday to record 21 saves and the shutout in a 4-0 victory in a rematch versus IK Oskarshamn. The netminder has appeared in 36 games this season and has a 19-17 record, 2.48 goals-against average and a .907 save percentage.

Petr Kvaca (HC Ceske Budejovice): Petr Kvaca started in all three contests for HC Ceske Budejovice this week. Kvaca made 27 saves in a 3-0 win over AZ Residomo Havířov on Wednesday to earn his fifth shutout of the season. He stopped 27 more shots on Saturday in a 8-1 victory over HC Benátky nad Jizerou. The netminder made 21 saves in 40 minutes between the pipes on Monday in a 7-2 loss to LHK Jestřábi Prostějov. Kvaca now has a 21-7 record, 1.57 goals-against average and .930 save percentage in 28 contests this campaign.

Maximilian Pajpach (HK Spisska Nova Ves): Maximilian Pajpach made 43 saves in the crease on Wednesday as HK Spisska Nova Ves fell 5-2 to HK Skalica.
