San Jose Sharks FINatical Kids Club

GREETINGS FROM THE KIDS CLUB!

Heyyyyy Kids Club!!!

It’s ME… SJ Sharkie!!! And I’ve got some FIN-TASTIC news to share with all my favorite super fans!!!

First off — how AMAZING were our Olympians?! I’m SO proud of all the athletes who represented their countries with heart, hustle, and big-time teamwork. They showed what it means to dream big and never give up — just like hockey players do every single shift. Way to go, champs!!!

And guess what?!?!

WE ARE BACK FOR GAMES FINALLY!!!

I’ve been practicing my goal celebrations, shining up my fins, and getting EXTRA loud because I can’t wait to see you back at the tank! There’s nothing better than high-fives, big cheers, and Sharks hockey with YOU in the building!

But wait… there’s MORE!

We’re having a SPECIAL “Send Your Helmet Design Back” RANDOM DRAWING!!!

If you designed a helmet and sent it in, you’re automatically entered for a chance to win some jawsome surprises! I’ve seen some of your creativity and WOW — future artists AND future Sharks players in the making!

And that’s not all…

We’ve got LOTS of great ticket offers for Kids Club families!
PLUS awesome Try Ball Hockey opportunities so you can hit the rink (or the street!) and practice your moves just like the pros!

This season is going to be packed with fun, friends, and FIN-tastic memories. I’m so proud of you, so excited to see you, and so ready to drop the puck!

Stay loud, stay proud, and keep chompin’!

Your pal,
SJ Sharkie

Give Ball Hockey a Try – Story Road, San Jose

The Learn to Play Ball Hockey program with the San Jose Sharks is a fantastic opportunity to have your athlete learn the foundational skills to play ball hockey. This program is available for athletes ages 4-14 and is one of the easiest ways to get them excited about playing hockey. This program is designed for those with little to no experience playing hockey.

January/February

Hey Kids Club Crew!

It’s time for a little Olympic break, but don’t worry—there’s still tons of fin-tastic hockey action swimming around the world! Some of our Sharks are diving into the Olympics to play for their home countries, and I couldn’t be more excited to cheer them on.

Make sure you keep an eye out for Macklin Celebrini, Alexander Wennberg, Philipp Kurashev, and Pavol Regenda as they skate on the biggest international stage. They’re ready to make waves and show everyone just how jaws-some Sharks hockey can be!

While they’re off making a splash, there’s still lots of Sharks fun swimming your way. Kids Club members should watch their inbox for a special email-only ticket offer to reel in great seats for an upcoming game. You can also join the action at our Try Ball Hockey event, where you’ll get to learn the game and show off your skills just like the pros!

And guess what? Valentine’s Day is also almost here! And my heart is going chomp-chomp!  Print out our Valentine’s Day cards to share with your friends and spread some fin-tastic cheer.

So grab your jerseys, wave your fins, and let’s cheer our Sharks!

Go Sharks!

December

Hey there, Sharks fans!

It’s your favorite fin-tastic friend, SJ Sharkie, swimming by to say “HI”! The season has been a splash so far — full of energy, excitement, and plenty of reasons to keep our jaws dropped. Thanks for cheering loud enough to make waves all across the Tank!

When I’m not hyping up the crowd on game nights, I’m out and about visiting birthday parties, community events, and schools. Meeting fans of all ages is one of my favorite parts of my day—your smiles keep my fin wagging!

On December 1st, the Team celebrated a very special member of the Team, ME!  Last summer I was inducted into the Mascot Hall of Fame and was voted the 2025 NHL Mascot of the year.  What a night it was!

I’m also proud to keep spreading positivity through our Reading Is Cool Program, inspiring kids to dive into books, use their imagination, and build strong reading habits. And of course, I’m continuing to champion kindness through our Anti-Bullying Program, reminding everyone that real Sharks stick together, support each other, and always choose respect.

Thanks for being part of this amazing Sharks community. Let’s keep the momentum going and make the rest of the season jaw-some! Also, keep an eye out for some special Kids Club events in the new year!

Bye bye for now! Chow!
SJ Shakie
