San Jose Sharks FINatical Kids Club

GREETINGS FROM THE KIDS CLUB!

Hey Sharks Fans!

I can’t believe the season is already coming to an end—it really just flew by (or should I say… swam by?). From big-time goals to jaw-some moments at the Tank, I’ve had an absolute blast riding the wave with all of you. While it’s tough to sea the season end, there’s still plenty of hockey action making a splash!

I’m hooked on playoff hockey and can’t wait to see who reels in the Stanley Cup—there’s nothing better than that high-energy, edge-of-your-fin excitement! And don’t forget, I’m cheering loud and proud for the San Jose Barracuda as they make a splash chasing the Calder Cup. Let’s keep that momentum swimming strong!

Just because the season is wrapping up doesn’t mean I’m going into hibernation—I’ll be out and about all summer long! Keep your eyes peeled for me at local festivals, community events, and anywhere there’s fun in the sun. If you spot me, don’t be shy—come say hi and let’s make some waves together!

Ready to dive in and play? You don’t have to be a big fish (yet!) to get started. Make sure to check out “Give Ball Hockey a Try,” “Give Hockey a Try,” the Pro Women’s Hockey Summer Tour, and the Jr. Sharks House League. It’s your chance to get your fins moving and learn to play like the pros—no fishy business, just pure fun!

And hey—don’t forget about Mother’s Day! Make a splash by printing out our Mother’s Day cards and celebrate all the fintastic women in your life. Trust me, it’ll mean oceans to them.

Thanks for being such an incredible school of fans all season long. I’m so lucky to have you in my waters, and I can’t wait to see you this summer. Before you know it, we’ll be back and ready to make even bigger waves!

Stay jaw-some,
SJ Sharkie

Through fun, age-appropriate lessons, we hope to create a positive first-time hockey experience for all of our participants.

December

Hey there, Sharks fans!

It’s your favorite fin-tastic friend, SJ Sharkie, swimming by to say “HI”! The season has been a splash so far — full of energy, excitement, and plenty of reasons to keep our jaws dropped. Thanks for cheering loud enough to make waves all across the Tank!

When I’m not hyping up the crowd on game nights, I’m out and about visiting birthday parties, community events, and schools. Meeting fans of all ages is one of my favorite parts of my day—your smiles keep my fin wagging!

On December 1st, the Team celebrated a very special member of the Team, ME!  Last summer I was inducted into the Mascot Hall of Fame and was voted the 2025 NHL Mascot of the year.  What a night it was!

I’m also proud to keep spreading positivity through our Reading Is Cool Program, inspiring kids to dive into books, use their imagination, and build strong reading habits. And of course, I’m continuing to champion kindness through our Anti-Bullying Program, reminding everyone that real Sharks stick together, support each other, and always choose respect.

Thanks for being part of this amazing Sharks community. Let’s keep the momentum going and make the rest of the season jaw-some! Also, keep an eye out for some special Kids Club events in the new year!

Bye bye for now! Chow!
SJ Shakie
