What’s one way you prioritize yourself?

  • Let yourself feel your feelings, it doesn’t make you weak!
  • Get a massage once a month at least!
  • Self-care and listening to music.
  • Get outside and walk! Jigsaw Puzzles! Epsom salt baths!
  • By making 3 goals a week to accomplish around selfcare/friends/family.
  • Spend time in my garden daily.
  • Go outside and be by myself.
  • By going to therapy!
  • Making time for self-care and hobbies that bring me joy.
  • Mental health is important!!!
  • Daily affirmations. Learn when to say no. Fill your cup with what makes you happy!
  • It’s okay to not be okay.
  • Take time for the things that give you joy!
  • The gym. 5x a week minimum. I always make time for it.
  • Making time to play hockey every week.
  • Make time for exercise + wellness.
  • Plan time for yourself. Don’t put off your goals/needs.
  • Making time for exercise. Even a leisure walk on a sunny day.
  • By never backing down and never giving up!
  • Put your oxygen mask on first!
  • Go take a good nap!
  • Learn to say “no” when you need to!
  • Monthly massages and trying to go to the gym 2-3 times a week.
  • Be honest with yourself and remember to prioritize your brain health.

  • Do things you love! Also that brings you joy!

  • Make sure you have “Me” time.

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?  

  • Be comfortable being uncomfortable in any situation. That’s how we grow!
  • On time is ten minutes early.
  • Don’t be afraid to ask questions.
  • Say yes to opportunities that scare you.
  • If you never ask the question, the answer is always no. Ask the question!
  • First impressions are important. Make a good one!
  • You’re young! Nothing matters and you have more time than you think!
  • Believe in yourself and others will see and believe in you.
  • Be your biggest advocate. No one else will for you.
  • Know your limits.
  • A work-life balance is important to perform at your best.
  • Never back down, never give up!!!!
  • Set boundaries! Hold every one including yourself to those boundaries.
  • Stick up for yourself even if you feel like giving up. You are important.
  • Don’t wait for someone to help you. Reach your goals. Drive your own personal development. (:
  • Do it for the right reasons…Stay in your lane and work hard.
  • Everything happens on your own time. Don’t compare your journey to anyone else!
  • You have to make your own luck.
  • Always ask for what you want because the worst thing that could happen is they say no. Survivable!

  • Be confident and believe in yourself at all times.
  • To not be afraid to put yourself out there and try new things.

What are your best networking tips?

  • Be nice to everyone! You never know who someone is!
  • Put yourself out there.
  • Don’t be afraid to say hi to a stranger and see where it goes.
  • Get involved in your community. Attend local events. Join groups that pertain to you/your hobbies.
  • Stay in touch with people. You never know what opportunities will come up.
  • Ask questions! Enjoy sharing your interests.
  • Smile! Give a compliment. Find common interests.
  • Networking 101-Talk to strangers and be able to do a short summary of you.
  • Be your authentic self!
  • Find similar positions at other companies and connect with these people on LinkedIn.
  • Ask questions and listen.
  • Be curious and listen first!!
  • Be open to meeting new people. Always have a question ready!
  • Take the chance to expand your circle. Your best contact might be the next one.
  • If someone random pops up on your LinkedIn feed, conncet! You never know where it may lead. (:
  • Smile, say hi, and ask how they are doing. Kindness transcends everything.
  • Start with a compliment! Especially if you are in a creative field.
  • Don’t be afraid to start a conversation, the worst someone can say is no.
  • LinkedIn! Don’t be shy.
  • Never back down, never give up!!!!
  • Don’t be shy!! Even just showing up and introducing yourself is a great first step!

How do you stay motivated?

  • Remember WHY I started this career.
  • Keep finding things that make your brain work.
  • When you have a dream/goal in mind.
  • I stay motivated by putting small rewards along the way!
  • Focus on the step in front of me.
  • Keep dreaming bigger! The more you believe you can achieve, the more you will!
  • My loved ones! <3
  • Pure spite! You will show them!
  • Setting short term goals and celebrating the wins!
  • By being my true self and self care.
  • Work with my teammates to collaborate on solutions. Multiple points of view helps solve problems.
  • Spending quality time with loved ones.
  • Focus on small steps…don’t get ahead of myself.
  • I work with youth, so I always think of them!
  • By remembering what you’re working for/towards.

  • With lots of help from friends and family. Without them, I would not have the confidence I do now!

  • I don’t always feel motivated. But discipline keeps me going.
