Sens head coach Guy Boucher met with the media this morning following an optional morning skate and noted that they'll be one change up front tonight. Max McCormick is set to re-enter the line-up after sitting out last night's game against the Sabres. As a result, Jim O'Brien will be the extra forward tonight and it's expected that Tom Pyatt will move into his spot as the centre on the fourth line.
No changes on defence but there was a close call with Fredrik Claesson who was a bit banged up after last night's tilt against Buffalo. Boucher shared the Claesson arrived to the rink this morning and was 100% and praised the 25-year-old defender for a strong showing on Thursday night. With everyone healthy, that means Erik Burgdoefer will once again be the extra defenceman this evening.
"That's the problem with Burgdoefer," said the coach. "We've got Harpur who's developing, and we need to develop him, who's playing with Ceci against the best players so we're going to continue giving those guys the reps. We're also not going to take Boro out...and I don't think we're going to take Chabot out...or Karlsson."
