The Sens are in Tampa Bay and here's what we know about Ottawa's line-up before tonight's 7 p.m. scheduled start against the Lightning.

Line-up Details

It was an optional skate this morning in Tampa Bay and just prior to the team hitting the ice Sens head coach Guy Boucher shared that his line-up for tonight's game against the Lightning won't be finalized until after warm-up.
The primary decision seems to be regarding the number of forwards and defencemen he'd like to deploy and whether to utilize 11/7 or 12/6. The coach also spoke about not having the final change on the road and in the past he has relied on having an extra blueliner to help insulate his young defence corps.
"Some players can become exposed in certain situations," Boucher said about playing on the road. "Getting Tkachuk back should help us create more depth and I've separated some players just to make sure we can have as much depth as we can."
Boucher is refering to the line shake-up that we saw during yesterday's practice which had Mark Stone move to a line with Colin White and Brady Tkachuk while Nick Paul moved up to fill Stone's spot with Matt Duchene and Ryan Dzingel. Here's a look at all the lines and pairings from Friday:
Dzingel - Duchene - Paul
Tkachuk - White - Stone
Boedker - Tierney - Ryan
McCormick - Pyatt - Paajarvi
Chabot - DeMelo
Lajoie - Ceci
Borowiecki - Jaros
Wideman

In Goal

Craig Anderson (6-5-3) gets the call in net again tonight for the Senators against the Lightning. He's coming off a 5-3 loss to the Golden Knights on Thursday in Ottawa that featured a highly debated non-call for goaltender interference that ultimately sealed the win for Vegas. Anderson has moved past that decision and stressed the importance of mentally reseting after each game.
"We're always looking forward to the next one," said Anderson. "We're trying to keep that mentality of staying fresh and not getting hung up on what happened yesterday."

Previous meeting

These teams last faced off just under a week ago in Ottawa where the Lightning rallied late in the third period before earning a 4-3 win in overtime. Stone lead the way offensively for the Senators with a pair of assists against Tampa while Anderson was tested early and often facing 45 shots in defeat.
Facing the same opponent twice in 6 days can be a challenge to plan for and Boucher shared some details on the Sens preparations for tonight's rematch.
"It's a chess match against anybody," said Boucher. "You have to be ready for plan A, B and C. Very often you start the game and after 5 minutes, it's plan D. We know what they are, we've seen them a lot either through us playing them or on video but I think in the end every game is an adjustment of some kind."
