As the Sens get set for their afternoon start in Boston today, here's a look at everything we know about their projected line-up against the Bruins.

BU Homecoming

Before we get to his availability for today's game, Brady Tkachuk got to experience another cool NHL moment on Sunday as the Sens practiced at the rink on campus at Boston University. Tkachuk skated in 40 games for the Terriers last season and was expected to return for his sophomore season before turning pro and joining the Senators.
"I gave all my Boston buddies and teammates last year a heads we were coming," said Tkachuk about returning to BU. "It's kind of funny how this stuff works sometimes. Being able to come back here was something special."
While Tkachuk was excited to return to the ice at his alma mater, he was equally looking forward to hitting up a few of his old campus hangouts during the team's limited stay at Boston University.
"There are two places that I'm going to try and hit up while we're there," Tkachuk said. "T Anthony's and T's Pub are two spots at BU that are pretty big so I'm hoping to stop into both."

Up Front

Speaking of Tkachuk, the Sens' first round in 2018 is expected to make his NHL debut this afternoon against the Bruins. Tkachuk sat out the Senators' first two games this season with a mild groin injury but head coach Guy Boucher confirmed he's good to today.
"Everybody dreams about playing in their first game," said Tkachuk. "On Thursday it was Max's night and the team has played great to open the season so I'm excited to get in there and be a part of it."

Brady Tkachuk Update

Tkachuk also shared that his parents have been following the team to start the year and will be in Boston today along with about 25 other people that will be in the house to watch Brady play his first NHL game.
The Sens forwards arent totally confirmed for this afternoon though as Ryan Dzingel, who suffered an injury at practice yesterday, is listed as a game-time decision against the Bruins. If he's unable to play, Paul Carey will take his spot in the line-up.
Here's a look at the Sens projected forward lines assuming Dzingel can play...
Tkachuk - Duchene - Dzingel
Boedker - Smith - Stone
Formenton - Tierney - Ryan
Paajarvi - Pyatt - White

On D

No changes are expected on the Sens blueline today and the coach plans to roll with the same pairings as Saturday's game against the Maple Leafs.
Thomas Chabot has been on fire this season and currenty leads the Sens in scoring after their first two games. The second year pro has been stellar at both ends of the ice so far and has racked up 2 goals and 2 assists in games against Chicago and Toronto. His defence partner today, Dylan DeMelo, notched his first goal with the Senators on Saturday and currently leads the team with a +5 rating in his first two games with Ottawa.

Here's a look at the projected defence pairings today:
Chabot - DeMelo
Lajoie - Ceci
Borowiecki - Wideman

In Goal

Massachusetts-native Mike Condon makes his first start of the season today and his first career start at TD Garden where he grew up watching NHL games.
"My first time at TD Garden in my fourth year in the league," said Condon yesterday after practice. "I think I've lived in 7 towns in Massachusetts that are all equidistant from the rink...I've got the state bracketed pretty good so I was always close to downtown Boston no matter what."
