Detroit Red Wings Mobile Ticketing

Mobile Ticketing is a digital version of your Red Wings ticket that allows entry into Joe Louis Arena without a hard copy ticket. This feature allows you to digitally keep your tickets in one place via Red Wings AccountManager on your smartphone.

Please review the step-by-step tutorial below for more information on how mobile ticketing works. We have also provided an FAQ section at the bottom of the page if you have additional questions.

    STEP 1: Using your smartphone, open the Official Detroit Red Wings Mobile App and tap "Account Manager" in the Tickets Menu.  STEP 2: Log into your Red Wings account using your account email and password.  STEP 3: Select the appropriate game date.  STEP 4: Select the seats you would like to use for Mobile Tickets. STEP 5: Present the barcode to the Joe Louis Arena attendant for scanning. If you have multiple tickets to scan, swipe left to access each seat. STEP 6: After your tickets are scanned, you will receive a seat locator from the Joe Louis Arena attendant. 

    FAQ's

    You have 24-hour access to manage your tickets online with Red Wings AccountManager. Using the browser on your smartphone, visit DetroitRedWings.com/MyAccountManager to log into your Red Wings account.

    Red Wings AccountManager provides several ways to manage your tickets:

    • Print your tickets from anywhere
    • Forward tickets to friends, family and clients
    • Sell tickets securely using NHL TicketExchange

    Log into your Red Wings AccountManager to view all your ticket management tools in one place. If you don't know your login information or need help with the process, a Red Wings Ticket Service Executive can assist you during normal business hours.

    If you are a Season Ticket Holder, you automatically have a Red Wings AccountManager. Please use your account ID or the email address associated with your Red Wings account to log in. If you don't know your account ID or the email address associated with your Red Wings account, contact your Ticket Service Executive and he or she will retrieve your information for you.

    If you have previously purchased Red Wings tickets via Ticketmaster, you currently have a Red Wings AccountManager and can access your account. If you have NOT previously purchased Red Wings tickets via Ticketmaster, please visit DetroitRedWings.com/MyAccountManager and press "Create Account" at the bottom of the screen.

    After you have completed this process, you can access your account by using the URL above via the browser on your smartphone.

    Using the browser on your smartphone, log into your Red Wings account via DetroitRedWings.com/MyAccountManager. Follow the steps as shown in our step-by-step tutorial and present your phone to the attendant when you arrive at Joe Louis Arena. The attendant will scan the QR code that appears, and you will receive a seat locator tab with detailed seat information for each ticket on your account. You will then enter Joe Louis Arena.

    Please Note: The Passbook option is also available if you are using an Apple iPhone.

    If you don't have a smartphone, you can still use your hard copy tickets from the Joe Louis Arena Box Office. Mobile Ticketing is only an option at this time. If you are receiving your tickets from someone who is using their smartphone, you can still log into your Red Wings AccountManager on any computer with Internet access to print your hard copy tickets.

    Your guests will require their own ticket to enter Joe Louis Arena. Prior to the specific game, you can forward tickets by logging into your Red Wings AccountManager and selecting "Ticket Forwarding." The recipient will then be able to print hard copy tickets or they can present their own Mobile Tickets at the Joe Louis Arena doors for an attendant to scan.

    Please Note: If the recipient does not have a Red Wings AccountManager, they will need to create one in order to access the forwarded tickets. If the recipient does not have an account or does not know if they have an account, please refer to the "Do I have a Red Wings AccountManager?" tab for more information.

    It is the responsibility of the primary Red Wings Account Holder to determine how the tickets are distributed among the group. Through Red Wings AccountManager, you will be able to transfer your tickets to your share partners. Once your share partners receive the tickets, they will be able to print hard copies or they can present their own Mobile Tickets at the Joe Louis Arena doors for an attendant to scan.

    Log into your Red Wings AccountManager and select "Ticket Forwarding." This is a secure way to deliver your tickets to your client or employee without leaving the office. Or, if you prefer, you can send the tickets for the specific game to your share partner from your Red Wings AccountManager by clicking "Print" which will give you a downloadable version to attach in an email.

    Please Note: If the recipient does not have a Red Wings AccountManager, they will need to create one in order to access the forwarded tickets.     You can sell your tickets securely through NHL TicketExchange. Simply log into your Red Wings AccountManager and click "Sell" to begin the process. For complete instructions, visit the Red Wings Season Ticket Holder Central section on DetroitRedWings.com.

    At this time, Mobile Ticketing is not available for Suite Holders. However, Mobile Ticketing is available for Comerica Bank Legends Club Ticket Holders.

    Yes. However, on the day of your game, any unpaid tickets associated with the account will not scan and the current Ticket Holder will be asked to make a payment at the Joe Louis Arena Box Office before he or she will be granted entrance into The Joe.

    No. Unfortunately, this feature is not available at this time.

    Yes. You can enter Joe Louis Arena using the number of Mobile Tickets you need at the time. Check the box next to the seats that you would like to forward or print and continue through the process on your Red Wings AccountManager. All unchecked seats will remain on your smartphone for the game you're managing. The recipient will be able to print hard copies or they can present their own Mobile Tickets at the Joe Louis Arena doors for an attendant to scan. .
