Each Red Wings fundraising license plate costs $35. When you purchase a fundraising plate, $25 of the $35 purchase fee is donated to the Detroit Red Wings Foundation. Note: A $10 fee is added to your vehicle registration fee when renewing a fundraising plate. The Detroit Red Wings Foundation receives the $10 renewal fee.
