Prospect Update: Shesterkin Remains Undefeated

Goaltender Igor Shesterkin entered SKA's game prior to the shootout and made six saves to pick up a 4-3 victory over Torpedo his third victory of the season. Shesterkin is 1-0-2 with a 1.45 GAA and a .947 SV% with a shutout in three games this season.

First-round pick Lias Andersson had three shots in 12:05 for Frolunda, who topped Zurich, 2-1, Saturday in the Champions Hockey League.
Dominik Lakatos had four shots and won 75 percent of his faceoffs in 12:21 for Liberec, who fell to Vaxjo in the CHL.
Patrik Virta had six shots and won 78 percent of his draws in 17:40 in a 3-1 TPS win over Mountfield in the CHL. Defenseman Tarmo Reunanenhad a shot in 18:25 of ice time.
Forward Tim Gettinger served as Sault Ste. Marie's captain Saturday in a 4-3 loss to Saginaw in an Ontario Hockey League preseason game. Gettinger had 31 goals and 54 points in 62 games last season, both of which were career-highs.
