|Saturday, June 1st||HockeyFest||The Florida Panthers IceDen will host the Ninth Annual HockeyFest where hockey players and fans are encouraged to come out and demo new hockey equipment through an interactive experience. Hockeyfest will feature exclusive demo opportunities from top equipment manufacturers including Bauer, CCM, Warrior, and Sherwood. The outside component will have activities including street hockey, music, inflatables, food trucks, and a video game truck. Public skating will also be available from 1PM-3PM.|
|Sunday, June 2nd||Zombie Apocalypse Run||It's early morning and the spooky sounds from the DJ booth is already amping you up for the beautiful run ahead through the trails of Quiet Waters Park. Little do you know, it's not going to be so quiet at Quiet Waters because there's hordes of zombies waiting for you (okay, okay, now you know). Be prepared for stationary, walker and running zombie zones because it's going to take a little speed and fancy footwork to get to the finish line with at least one of your "three lives" (AKA: Flags) attached. The race is just part of it, because they'll be a killer ZombieFest after-party complete with Zombie DJ, Games and of course Zombies performing "Thriller"!|
|Friday, June 7th||Safari Nights||Enjoy extended Zoo hours during our Summer Safari Nights: First Fridays. We will stay open until 9P on First Fridays from June thru August. Splash around in our interactive play fountain, our new Nature Play Pavilion, and enjoy access to the entire Zoo! The theme is Superheroes!|

|Saturday, June 8th||Pawsitive Strides 5k||The Humane Society of Broward County is excited to host the Inaugural Pawsitive Strides 5K. The event will be held on June 8, 2019 at TY Park in Hollywood. This 5K is for humans only. We kindly ask that you please leave your four-legged friends at home. The Humane Society of Broward County relies on the generosity of our community and companies to fund our operations and programs budget. Income sources are: adoption fees; services such as dog obedience, vaccination clinics, spay/neuter programs; pet boutique sales; fundraising events; grants; general donations and from those people who leave the shelter in their will. Every dollar is carefully spent to help the homeless animals.|

|Saturday, June 15th||Stonewall Wilton Manors Pride Parade and Festival||In 2019, we will celebrate Stonewall 20-50! 2019 is the 20th anniversary of the Wilton Manors Stonewall Festival, and the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots. We remember the past, celebrate the present, and commit to the future. The WIlton Manors Pride Festival is June 15th from 3:00 PM until 11:00 PM, with the Parade kicking off at 4:00 PM.|

This action-packed, fun-filled event includes more than 30 exhibitors, face painters, music, interactive activities, a fire truck splash pad, onstage performances and the chance to win great prizes!|
|Sunday, June 16th||Father's Day 5k/10k||This year marks the 6th race for this group and will be moving locations to the Royal Palm Commons Park. The park itself covers over 163 acres, with great running trails, a 19-acre lake, a large dog park, two different playgrounds, picnic pavilions, golf and much more. A great new space for our dedicated runners.|
