Friday, November 2nd Tobacco Prevention Summit The City of Hialeah, Department of Parks and Recreation alongside the Florida Health Department will host a summit to educate the youth and adults in our community about the dangers of tobacco consumption. There will be live entertainment, games and activities, attractions, food trucks and many other fun and exciting opportunities for the entire family to enjoy. Join us at Goodlet Park in Hialeah to help support this wonderful event.
Saturday, November 3rd Miles for Smiles 5k Broward Children's Center is hosting the 15th Annual Miles for Smiles. Last year they raised over $50,000 for medical, educational, therapeutic, and recreational care to infants, children and young adults. There will be food, awards, family fun activities, community vendors, raffles and more.
Saturday, November 3rd MDA Muscle Walk of Miami Each day, everyday freedoms like walking, hugging, playing and even breathing are taken away for kids and adults in our community with muscular dystrophy, ALS and related muscle-debilitating diseases. Join us to continue to enhance support and care, offer the highest-quality programs and accelerate research efforts to bring more treatments to families faster.

Saturday, November 10th NAMI Walks Broward County NAMI Walks Broward brings together family members, community leaders, neighbors, and friends to raise crucial funds for NAMI's Broward's programs, promote awareness of mental illness, and celebrate recovery. NAMI Broward relies on funds raised from the Walk to provide free trainings and free programs to people searching for information, help, and hope.
Tuesday, November 13th Bokamper's Watch Party Join us at Bokamper's Sports Bar and Grill in Miramar as the Panthers take on the Philadelphia Flyers at 7:00pm. Fans attending watch parties will enjoy 'The Florida Panther Burger' on the menu as well as visits from Stanley C. Panther, the Roar Corps and more. Thursday, November 15th Light Up Lauderdale Join us at Esplanade Park in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. This annual event is the launch of Light Up Lauderdale - the ten-week celebration of glittering holiday lights along the Riverwalk. Presented by Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale in association with the City of Fort Lauderdale, Get Lit is a family friendly event that includes live holiday musical performances, Santa and his sleigh, train rides, kid crafts, vendors and more. Elected officials will also be on hand to do the official tree lighting ceremony and usher in the holiday season. The event has free admission for all.
Saturday, November 17th Storybook Festival The free Storybook Festival brings together children's literature, fantasy, art, music, dance, performances, storytelling and the joys of reading into a fun and unforgettable day. The first 1,000 children in attendance will receive a free book. Children are encouraged to arrive at the Festival in costume to participate in the Story Book Parade. This year's theme, "Let's Go Fly a Kite," is in celebration of the magic of Mary Poppins, encouraging everyone to follow their dreams and bring out their inner child.
Saturday, November 17th Tacolandia (Miami New Times) Come out and enjoy unlimited tacos at Miami New Times' Tacolandia! Tacolandia, presented by Goya, is a taco sampling event you will not want to miss. You can expect to see restaurants serving tacos in different forms such as ice cream tacos, sushi tacos, traditional tacos and much more.
Sunday, November 18th Nosh Fest Join us in the mission to share different cuisines and cultures with the community while fighting hunger and providing food to those in need throughout Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach Counties. Enjoy delicious tastes from local restaurants and food trucks, live music, community marketplace and children's activity and games area. Admission to the event is 5 non-perishable food items per person or $5 per person. 
Monday, November 19th Turkey Drive Watch Party Join us at the BB&T Center B10 & B12 Parking Lots located below the JetBlue Tarmac, the Florida Panthers will be partnering with Harvest Drive for a Turkey Drive Watch Party presented by JetBlue. Enjoy food trucks, interactive games, and appearances by Stanley C. Panther, Viktor E. Ratt and ROAR Corps for our Thanksgiving Turkey Drive and Watch Party. Price of admission is a frozen turkey.
Saturday, November 24th Coconut Grove Food & Wine Festival Join us at the 25th Annual Coconut Grove Food & Wine Festival. Explore and sample Coconut Grove's Newest Restaurants, Famous Chefs, and Caterers with live music all while enjoying being on beautiful Biscayne Bay.
Sunday, November 25th Winterfest Family Fun Day Join us as we bring a real ice rink to Huizenga Plaza. In addition, you can enjoy the following activities: Polar Express, Fair Superslide, Sun Sentinel kid's town, face painting, sampling, massages and much more - photo ops with mascots and Santa to name a few.
Tuesday, November 27th Christmas on Las Olas Come out to Las Olas as it is transformed into an urban winter wonderland and celebrate its 56th year creating holiday magic in downtown Fort Lauderdale. Local choirs from schools and churches will fill the air with the sounds of the holidays from 3 stages while crowds will fill their bellies with sips and sweets. Christmas on Las Olas is a timeless tradition and a wonderful kick-off to the holiday season that can be enjoyed by all ages.
