Sunday, January 6th Dunn's Run 5K Walk & Run The 22nd Annual Dunn's Run, held on Sunday, January 6th, 2019 will benefit The Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County. The Dunn's Run has earned its reputation as the race that signifies the start of the running season attracting over 2,000 runners, walkers and participants. One of the largest racing fields in the Tri-County. This event which is fun for everyone regardless of ability attracts the masses as the entry cost is only $35 or less. Because you care, our kids have a chance at life.
Tuesday, January 8th Bokamper's Watch Party (Ft. Lauderdale) Join us at Bokamper's Sports Bar and Grill in Fort Lauderdale as the Panthers take on the Pittsburgh Penguins at 7:00pm. Fans attending watch parties will enjoy 'The Florida Panther Burger' on the menu as well as visits from Stanley C. Panther, the ROAR Corps and more. Visit for full menu and offerings information.
Friday, January 11th FTL Happy Hour Join us on Friday, January 11th as we enjoy happy hour on 2nd St in Downtown Fort Lauderdale as your Florida Panthers take on the Calgary Flames at 9:00pm.
Saturday, January 12th 8th Annual Riverwalk Stone & Crab Seafood Festival Come and celebrate our local South Florida Seafood Industry as it features some of Fort Lauderdale's favorite seafood restaurants. They will be serving up an array of fresh seafood dishes starting at $5. Seafood lovers of all ages are welcome to come out, rain or shine, and enjoy a day of great food, cold drinks, music and more, including the crowd-favorite hermit crab races!
Sunday, January 13th Steps for Life 5k Help us in the fight to cure blood cancers through stem cell and bone marrow transplants! Each of us has the power within us to save someone's life! Gift of Life Marrow Registry's Steps for Life 5k Run/Walk South Florida is an event not to be missed! This event features the first-time meeting of a recipient and their life-saving donor, as well as a Superhero Sprint for children under 6 years of age and a certified, chip timed run.
Sunday, January 13th Family Fun Sunday The Motivational Edge Campus features a state-of-the-art recording studio & multipurpose creative space, where students can explore audio production/recording, visual arts, instrumentation, and dance. Our multi-purpose rec field is already being put to great use with Soccer Saturdays, Family Fun Sundays and other fun programs that promote healthy-active lifestyles. This Campus is one-of-a-kind in Miami-Dade County, empowering local youth to engage in positive self-expression, develop essential life skills, and become thriving future leaders in our community.
Saturday, January 19th ArtLit 2019 A Day of Heroes ArtLit is a community celebration of art and literature with a playful explosion of live chalk art, canvas art, music, virtual reality demonstrations, interactive experiences, food trucks, and fun for all ages. Free live art creation and entertainment will be offered day and night for a total of ten hours. Everyone is invited to join in a day of artful literary entertainment-a perfect way to celebrate Pompano Beach Library & Cultural Center's first anniversary.

Saturday, January 26th Tri-Rails Rail Fun Day Children and families are invited to Tri-Rail's 11th Annual "Rail Fun Day." The FREE, fun-filled event will feature interactive games and activities, face painting, arts and crafts, live entertainment, food trucks and more. Event goers are encouraged to ride the train to the event with round-trip fares just $5. Kids under five ride free! Plus, the first 100 riders to visit the Tri-Rail booth and present a valid Tri-Rail ticket date January 26th, 2019 will receive a free gift!
Thursday, January 31st Parkland Snow Fest (rescheduled) Parkland residents, join us at Snow Fest at Pine Trails Park (Amphitheater) for snow-filled activities!
