EDMONTON, AB – OEG Sports & Entertainment (OEGSE) announced today that Oilers Fan Day, presented by Rogers, will return to Rogers Place and ICE District on Saturday, September 19 from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM. The annual event will feature Oilers open practices, an exclusive locker room sale and a variety of family-friendly activities as fans come together to celebrate the start of the Oilers 2026-27 season.
This year’s event will kick off with the Oilers Locker Room Sale in Ford Hall from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, giving fans the opportunity to purchase game-used equipment, exclusive merchandise and limited-edition Oilers gear. Fans can get an early look at the Oilers ahead the pre-season opener against the Winnipeg Jets, with the game roster taking the ice for morning skate at Rogers Place at 9:30 AM, followed by a 10:10 AM practice featuring the rest of the team at the Downtown Community Arena.
ICE District Plaza will feature a variety of family-friendly activities throughout the day, including bouncy castles, balloon artists, face painting and more. Fans will also have the opportunity to take photos with Oilers and Oil Kings alumni, along with mascots Hunter the Lynx and Louie the Lion.
Admission to all Oilers Fan Day activities is free, with fans of all ages welcome to attend.
A reminder that the Oilers host the Jets that evening at Rogers Place to kick off the pre-season at 6:00 PM, with great tickets still available at EdmontonOilers.com/Tickets.
To round out the day, fans are encouraged to head to the Fan Park @ ICE District for Western Canada’s largest Oktoberfest celebration, with doors opening at 5:00 PM. Tickets are available at Ticketmaster.ca.
