They said it

"I want to be consistent in my game. I'm a goal-scorer. I've been fortunate to play with great players along the way." -- Golden Knights forward James Neal
"They have a couple guys that were here last year and it's always fun to play against those guys, but on the ice, there are no friends. We just want to battle … for us it's the playoffs right now and we need to win every game, battle hard, and it doesn't matter who we play against, but of course it was nice and it was nice to see [Gallant] behind the bench." -- Panthers forward Aleksander Barkov on facing former coach Gerard Gallant and former teammates Jonathan Marchessault and Reilly Smith
