The players received their Stanley Cup championship rings on Sunday after their preseason finale. The rings feature over 900 individual stones and 9.80 carats of diamonds and 1.4 carats of red rubies.
Each ring has holds a puck pendant inside it and features a likeness of the team's mascot, Stormy underneath. The North Carolina state flag is on the underside of the removable ring top, circled by each player's jersey number in a nod to their "Storm Surge" victory celebration.
The Hurricanes will raise their championship banner before Tuesday’s matchup against the Panthers. It’s the first game a season-opening tripleheader on ESPN, to be followed by the New York Rangers at Boston Bruins (8 p.m. ET) and Chicago Blackhawks at Vegas Golden Knights (10:30 p.m. ET).
